The modern promotion

A good friend of mine works in the same factory I do.  I have known him for many years now and he is just a great guy.  After years of hard work he was offered a promotion.  I won’t go into the exact details but it amounts to, “we will give you a new title, more responsibility and less money and you will give us more effort.”  This is becoming more and more common in our industry.  Promote from within usually means you may get the job but not the pay you deserve for it.    I bet there is someone you are thinking of in your office or factory that has had this happen.  From the company's point of view it is a great deal.  They fill the position,  they basically get a body for the job at a discount rate.  If you don’t work out they will just hire someone for the real price, if you do work out they save a ton this year and every year after.  Great deal!
How much do you value your time, your life? Do you think you deserve to be promoted?  I think so. Do you think there should be more to life? I know so.  I am sure you can succeed and be great using the skills God gave you.  Do you know what you enjoy doing, or what other things you are good at? Things that God set you up to do.  Well it is tough to find out if you are always a slave to the time clock.  Do you get excited when you can get some overtime to buy some gifts?  Think of what your life could be like if you were free of that evil clock.  Free to enjoy your family and life.  I think that is what you were suppose to be good at, being free.
Does it take some planning, maybe so.  Some work in the beginning, most things do.  But just think of it being free,  no longer  a slave to a clock,  hoping for lottery.  You could have your life back.  What would you do with your time, who would you go see, where would you go?  They say the one thing a man cannot survive without is hope.  Come with us and get your hope back
