Black berries

Black berries are God’s gift to the small farmer.  It is a perennial; it multiplies and requires little or no care.  The fruit is great and can be used in a variety of ways.  In years past we have picked enough berries in one year to keep us in berries for many years to come.  This is a rebuilding year for us.  I am afraid we did not pay close attention and a wild grape vine took out many of our bushes.  So I tore out the grape vine and replanted 30 or 40 berry bushes.  Black berries are like growing weeds and just as hard to grow.  Dig a hole about a foot deep, throw in a bush, and pack lightly with dirt.  As long as you buried some root it will grow.  What kind of berried do you like?
