Sue's "Pamper Me" Saturday
Good morning! I have come to you today with a DIY "Pamper Me" recipe. Who doesn't like some pampering on a Saturday morning? Yogurt Facial Scrub
- 1/4 cup yogurt
- 1/4 cup cornmeal
- 5 drops Patchouli- 5 drops grapefruit
- 5 drops lavender Apply it on face and wash it off.
And for breakfast, just whip up a batch of waffles with Young Living's Gary's True Grit Einkorn Pancake & Waffle Mix and slather them with Gary's True Grit Ningxia Berry Syrup.
Now that you've had breakfast, go have a wonderful February day!

You've probably been hearing about fluoride in the news and how some are saying it's bad for us and it should be removed from our water systems. The following is a quote I ran across when I was Googling fluoride safety.
"Sodium Fluoride is used in most toothpastes, mouthwashes, dental varnish, dental preparations and nutritional supplements. This same form of fluoride is used as an insecticide and pesticide, as a preservative in glues, as a growth inhibitor for bacteria, fungi and mold."
So, how do you feel about that? Okay, I guess I would like to inhibit the growth of bacteria, fungi and mold in my mouth, who wouldn't?! I grew up in the time period when fluoride pills, pastes and rinses were the next best invention and yes, I was give them all. And my teeth are horrible! I believe I was over-prescribed fluoride.
Is there anything you can do? Absolutely! There are many non-fluoride toothpastes out there and we have tried some. The one we love is Young Living's Thieves Aromabright Toothpaste. It is not harsh in any way and it tastes good. My 23 year old son, Brad, says his teeth feel like he just came from the dentist and I totally agree.
Young Living has a few toothpastes - all fluoride free. I, for one, will never go back to fluoride toothpaste. I love the results I am getting with my Thieves Aromabright!

Job security, is it still out there?
Years ago people expected to get a job and stay there for many years and retire with a pension. Today that is just not a reality for most people. Most people have to change jobs many times in their career just to stay employed. The jobs are just vanishing and we are moving to a consumer based economy. If your future is not based on this fact, good luck in the next few years as machines will be replacing people faster than ever before.
There is an alternative
Network marketing has created more wealth than any other industry out there. And you are saying oh it is hard, I don’t want to talk to people. Well if it means I can be financially free, I am willing to give it a listen. And the company we deal with, Young Living, is redefining the industry with a new brand of professionalism. With our company, this is not product pick up night or storage shed of stuff to sell. We are just showing people how to live healthier lives and save money to boot. Let me hit a few of the reasons this really appealed to us. First there is no ceiling, you can make as much as you want. Have you ever just wanted to give yourself a raise, you can. In addition you get paid for how hard you work, if you work harder you make more. I have heard you have to be in early to make any money, simply not true with Young Living. Our products are consumed daily and sought after by many people. We have a huge variety of products, all healthy alternatives to what you can find in the store. After your organization is built you even get paid when you do not work. Once your team is running it will continue to build and sell even while you are away. You can win trips all around the world for you and your family, you don’t see that in the office much. The income in Young Living is willable so your family will continue to get paid even if you leave us. You will have no boss, it is up to you, work as fast or as slow as you want.
Young Living is the best place to start as they are pioneers in the field of essential oils. Other companies are happy just to be mentioned with them. They have the highest quality and most loyal customers in the industry. they have been in business 21 years so they are stable. They offer less toxic alternatives to most of your commonly used household items.
Our team is one step further because we are the best team in the company. We are education driven and we mean it. We will teach you about the oils, how and when to use them and the rest of the Young Living products. We will show you how to have a successful business and support you as you grow. The team we have is the most valuable part of the whole deal.

The modern promotion
A good friend of mine works in the same factory I do. I have known him for many years now and he is just a great guy. After years of hard work he was offered a promotion. I won’t go into the exact details but it amounts to, “we will give you a new title, more responsibility and less money and you will give us more effort.” This is becoming more and more common in our industry. Promote from within usually means you may get the job but not the pay you deserve for it. I bet there is someone you are thinking of in your office or factory that has had this happen. From the company's point of view it is a great deal. They fill the position, they basically get a body for the job at a discount rate. If you don’t work out they will just hire someone for the real price, if you do work out they save a ton this year and every year after. Great deal!
How much do you value your time, your life? Do you think you deserve to be promoted? I think so. Do you think there should be more to life? I know so. I am sure you can succeed and be great using the skills God gave you. Do you know what you enjoy doing, or what other things you are good at? Things that God set you up to do. Well it is tough to find out if you are always a slave to the time clock. Do you get excited when you can get some overtime to buy some gifts? Think of what your life could be like if you were free of that evil clock. Free to enjoy your family and life. I think that is what you were suppose to be good at, being free.
Does it take some planning, maybe so. Some work in the beginning, most things do. But just think of it being free, no longer a slave to a clock, hoping for lottery. You could have your life back. What would you do with your time, who would you go see, where would you go? They say the one thing a man cannot survive without is hope. Come with us and get your hope back
